Prayer before watching

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God,
bless this time I will spend watching.
Help me to see the world through the eyes of faith,
to distinguish good from evil,
and to learn from everything I see.
Keep my heart and mind pure,
and do not allow anything to distance me from You.

Amen. ☦

Prayer after watching

Thank You, Lord,
for this time of reflection and learning.
Help me to apply in my life
what I have learned,
and to share the light of faith with others.
Strengthen me in goodness
and protect me from all evil.

Amen. ☦

Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen. ☦

Rejoice, O Virgin Theotokos,
Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb,
for you have borne the Savior of our souls.

Why pray?

Prayer is conversation with God, a means of spiritual strengthening and communion with our Heavenly Father. It brings us closer to God and helps us live a righteous life.

When to pray?

Apostle Paul calls us to pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). Pray in the morning, evening, before meals, before important decisions, and at all times.

How to pray?

Pray with a sincere heart, humility, and faith. What matters is not the length but the sincerity of prayer. God hears every prayer offered with faith.
